I bought John Coltrane’s ‘A Love Supreme’ while I was in high school, a long time ago. The album jacket hangs framed on my studio wall. Over the years I have painted homages to the album’s tracks. ‘Psalm’ was the last painting, the others have found homes. Flanders gallery asked permission to hang it horizontally and I think it’s a stunning option.
